Invoking the Guru’s Blessings on Guru Poornima

Guru Poornima has been a special day in the Sathya Sai calendar historically. In fact, Bhagawan’s first message to mankind was on the importance of the Guru. As a young boy of 14, Bhagawan had declared “Manasa Bhajare Guru Charanam Dusthara Bhava Saagara Tharanam” to the world.

This year it was even more so for it was the first Guru Poornima celebrated in the divine auspices of Sri Sathya Sai Vaatsalyam. The mood and fervor in the ashram were unmatched. It was a day waiting to unfold.
