The spirit of unity, gratitude, and purposeful service came alive at Sri Sathya Sai Vaatsalyam as the Sri Sathya Sai Premaarpitham Foundation family gathered for Premaarpanam Day 2025 — an annual celebration honouring the hands, hearts, and humility behind our collective mission.
A Day to Reflect, Rejoice, and Recommit
More than just a staff appreciation day, Premaarpanam is a reaffirmation of the Foundation’s core ethos: live to love; live to serve. It is a moment to pause and reflect on the journey of the past year — to celebrate milestones, embrace the lessons learned, and renew our shared commitment to serve with devotion and excellence.
The morning commenced with vedam chanting, setting the tone for a day steeped in reverence and joy.
Highlights from the Celebration
Sri Keshava Murthy, Administrative Officer at Sri Sathya Sai Vaatsalyam, opened the proceedings by acknowledging the quiet, tireless dedication of the staff, whose spirit of seva preserves the serenity and sanctity of the campus.
Dr. Dhanusha expressed heartfelt gratitude to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba for the divine opportunity to serve, and introduced the devoted team behind Sri Sathya Sai Vaidyalayam.
Brother Jagadish, pharmacist at Vaidyalayam, shared how fulfilling it was to know that his daily efforts were helping people at the grassroots.
Sister Vidya Keshav, Manager of Sri Sathya Sai Svedanika, spoke with deep appreciation and pride as she introduced her team, whose quiet strength lies in serving everyone with dignity and compassion.
Brother Satish from the security team recounted his journey, describing how the sacred energy of the campus has transformed his life. “I have experienced peace, devotion, and oneness here,” he shared. “It doesn’t just surround you — it enters you. That’s what makes this place special.”
Staff Recognition & Gratitude
Employees from various service initiatives — from Sri Sathya Sai Dayinis to ones who help upkeep the Sri Sathya Sai Vaatsalyam campus — from the security, housekeeping, gardening, Vaidyalayam to the administration teams — were recognised for their tireless commitment.
Brother Harshit KS and sister Saishree expressed their gratitude to all the staff members, acknowledging the relentless dedication and love that each staff member brings to their daily work.
Games, Laughter, and Lightness of Heart
Injecting cheer into the day were a variety of team games designed to reflect the values of collaboration and joy. From the classic three-legged race to the hilariously unpredictable “pin the tail on the dog” (blindfolded!) and the “face biscuit” challenge, laughter echoed across the Sadashivam hall as colleagues became teammates — and in many cases, friends.
A Shared Meal, A Shared Bond
The afternoon was marked by a warm and traditional Tamil meal, served on banana leaves — a symbolic reminder that our strongest bonds are not forged by roles and titles alone, but by shared moments and heartfelt connection.
A Living Offering of Love
As the celebrations drew to a close, one truth echoed through every smile, every gesture, every word: Premaarpanam isn’t just a day — it is a way of life at the Sri Sathya Sai Premaarpitham Foundation. It lives in the way we serve, support, and uplift one another — in the quiet grace with which each member carries out their duties.
To every member of this growing family, we offer our deepest gratitude. Your presence is a blessing, your service a silent prayer in motion.
May the coming year see us serve with even greater unity, humility, and joy.
