A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Sri Sathya Sai Premaarpitham Foundation, represented by its Chairman, and the Zilla Parishad CEO Sri Digvijay Bodke on the 14th of August, 2023, marking a significant step towards realizing the shared vision of nourishing young minds. The broad vision of ‘Sai Prema’ was acknowledged and supported by the Zilla Parishad of the Ramanagara district, Sri Digvijay Bodke, recognizing the potential for transformation.
A Step Towards Empowerment
The MOU outlines the commitment of the Sri Sathya Sai Premaarpitham Foundation to serve a daily nutritious breakfast, complete with a ragi-based drink. These meals are thoughtfully prepared within the welcoming confines of the Sri Sathya Sai Vaatsalyam kitchen, known as Sri Sathya Sai Svedanika. The core objective is to ensure that the students receive a consistently appetizing, healthy, and hygienic breakfast on each school day.
This memorandum is a testament to the power of collective action and the significance of addressing the root causes of the challenges in rural India. Education, when complemented by nourishment, can become a powerful tool for empowerment and growth.
